Juno and the Paycock
at The Crescent Theatre, 7.30pm Saturday 10th October 2009 in Birmingham
Th' whole worl's in a terrible state o' chassis
Continuing The Crescent's look back to 1924, we present Sean O'Cassey's Juno and the Paycock, first performed in that year at Dublin's Abbey Theatre.
Set in the working class tenements of Dublin in the early 1920s, the play tells the story of a family, and a country, at war with itself and trying to make sense of a new world emerging from the chaos of World War.
After Dark Talk: Friday 11th October
