Elton John
at The NEC Arena, 7pm Wednesday 21st June 2006 in Birmingham
Sir Elton John has announced that his NEC Arena show is to be rescheduled because of the outcome of the draw for the World Cup matches in Germany.
England have been drawn in Group B and are now due to face Sweden on Tuesday 20 June 2006, with a 8pm kick off – exactly the time when Elton would be on stage at The NEC Arena.
On checking with The NEC Arena, it was established that the show could be moved to the following day – Wednesday 21 June and it has been decided that rather than fans possibly having to make the choice between the concert and the football, it is better to move the show giving the public the best of both worlds, football and Elton!
Sir Elton will now take to The NEC Arena stage on Wednesday 21 June 2006. All tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the new date and will not need to be exchanged. If the new date is not suitable a refund can be obtained from the original point of purchase.
