Renowned tabla player Taufiq Qureshi, son of the legendary Ustad Alla Rahka (Abaji) and brother of world famous tabla maestro Ustad Zakhir Hussain joins forces with the pioneers of the British Asian underground scene the State Of Bengal Ensemble and Vasundhara Das. Tonight's collabroration sees these musical giants creating a fusion of classical and contemporary sounds. So come along and be immersed in the cross-fertilisation of tabla and electronica influenced by the rhythms of sounds of the South Asian diaspora. The result is a truly mesmerising and hypnotic experience of live music.
