FRIDAY 13TH MARCH 2009
On Friday 13th March 2009 2manydjs will be making their first and only UK appearance of 2009 before their UK Tour in June at The Custard Factory, Birmingham.
2manydjs are two brothers, David and Stephen Dewaele from Gwent in Belgium. They are also part of the alternative-rock band known as ‘Soulwax’.
As 2manydjs they have mixed some of the most influential, cutting edge and off the wall tracks famously mixing Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” with Royksopp’s “Eple” on their Radio Soulwax mix CD. Probably one of their most famous remix / mashups was when they dubbed Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” with New Order’s massive 1980’s chart hit “Blue Monday” The official title of which is “Can’t Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head”.
As well as 2manydjs in the marquee there will be drum & bass and dubstep in the Factory Club provided by four of Birmingham’s most forward thinking brands in their respective genres. Disk Connected, Class A Recordingz, Double D Productions and Dubstep Warriorz.
